Through our initiatives we aim to address food insecurity, promote self-sufficiency, and foster personal growth. Our programs include providing nutritious meals and essential supplies to those in need, teaching individuals and youth essential life skills, and offering educational workshops on financial literacy and job readiness. Through these efforts, we aim to empower individuals and families to achieve long-term stability and well-being.

What We do

Nourish & Serve Initiative

The Nourish & Serve Initiative focuses on providing nutritious meals to the homeless and those facing food insecurity. We focus on meeting the physical and spiritual needs of those we serve. We organize regular community care events, clothing drives, holiday meals, and provide resources..

  • Impact​

    • We serve 100–150  meals weekly

    • We provide care and hygiene packages 

    • ​We also provide spiritual counseling and prayer, to address the emotional and mental needs.

Gardening for Growth   Initiative

 The Gardening for Growth teaches individuals to grow their own food. This initiative includes workshops on basic gardening, sustainability, and healthy cooking.

  • Impact​

    • Participants learn how to grow, harvest, and prepare fresh, healthy meals from their garden. 

    • Participants learn to how reduce their reliance on food assistance, by growing their own food. 

    • Participants are equipped with practical skills on healthy eating,  making healthier food choices.

youth Healthy lifestyle initiave

Kookin With Kids is an educational workshop that teaches youth ages 10-18 how to prepare simple, nutritious healthy meals.

  • Impact:​

    • Participants learn how to cook a healthy, budget-friendly meals

    • Youth are educated on the importance of balanced nutrition and living a healthy lifestyle.

    • Youth are giving the confidence they need in the kitchen to foster their love for cooking..

Life Skills inititiave

This program provides educational workshops that focus on mental health, and teach life skills, such as anger management, financial literacy,  budgeting, computer literacy and  job readiness.

  • Impact:

    • We help individuals  see their potential and build confidence through learning essential life skills

    • Individuals are equipped with practical tools for long-term stability and self-sufficiency.
